Tomorrow marks the anniversary of one of the darkest days in our nation’s history: The day MAGA extremists launched an insurrection against our Capitol at the bidding of Donald Trump. It’s been four years since that fateful day, but we will never forget the trauma and devastation that occurred and the fallout that ensued. Though those same MAGA extremists may think they’ve won with another Trump presidency set to begin in two short weeks, Georgia Democrats are still here — and we’ll never stop fighting for our democracy, no matter what. That’s why we’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal of $10,000 to reach by tomorrow night to kick off 2025 strong and show Trump and his followers that we won’t forget their attempt to undermine our democracy.
