Trump, Elon Musk, and GOP Speaker Mike Johnson want to destroy the Public
Broadcasting Service — the public media we know as PBS.^1

Trump’s relentless war on journalism started during his first run for
president and has only gotten worse. Now, with Musk in charge of slashing
funding for public goods, PBS is under serious threat.
