Hey John,
After the election, researchers noted a staggering 4,600% rise in misogynistic rhetoric online and deeply disturbing attacks in real life. From hateful chants in schools to men parading campuses with signs declaring “Women Are Property,” the surge in hate has laid bare the depths of a rising tide of misogyny.

This is no accident. Misogyny is being weaponized to divide us, dehumanize women and girls, and justify violence. It’s not “just a joke.” It’s a dangerous attempt to roll back decades of progress and silence those of us fighting for equality.
But let us be clear: we are not backing down. Together, we’ve built a movement that has faced these threats before—and we will face them again, stronger than ever.
This is about more than resisting hate, John. It’s about recommitting to each other, to equality, and to a vision of America that works for all of us.
