John – Happy New Year!
As we step into 2025, I want to take a moment to say thank you. Because of our remarkable grassroots team, we met our final end of quarter fundraising goal for 2024. We’re starting the year in a strong position, ready to face the challenges ahead.
And that’s all thanks to your support, John.
This past week, I returned to Washington, D.C., to take the oath of office for the 119th Congress. Standing in the chamber, I was reminded of the responsibility we share and the urgent work ahead.

We all know the road ahead won’t be easy. There’s much to accomplish this session and many challenges we must overcome, but I can promise you this: I will work with anyone serious about governing and delivering for our communities.
I came to Congress to deliver for the South Sound, and I remain focused on making our district and our nation more safe, more just, and more secure.
I look forward to stepping into leadership roles this year, including serving as Secretary of the Congressional Black Caucus where we’ll keep fighting for equitable access to housing, opportunities, good jobs, health care, and justice for every American.
Thank you again, John. Your support gives me hope and confidence that when we come together, bright days are ahead.
