*Wyoming Flag to fly at Half Staff at the Capitol and in Converse and Platte Counties on January 6 for Frank Peasley*

 

CHEYENNE, Wyo. - Governor Mark Gordon has ordered the Wyoming State Flag be flown at half staff at the Capitol in Cheyenne and in Converse and Platte Counties from sunrise to sunset on* Monday, January 6* in honor and memory of Frank Peasley. Mr. Peasley represented Converse and Platte Counties in House District 3 in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 2009-2012. He passed away January 3, 2025.

In accordance with U.S. flag code, U.S. and Wyoming flags will *remain at half-staff statewide until sunset on January 28* in recognition of the passing of President Jimmy Carter on December 29, 2024.
