A new year
means a fresh start. And lots of people are setting their resolutions for
2025 — from staying in closer touch with far-away friends to spending less
time scrolling on social media.

This is also a good opportunity to think about what we expect from our
leaders this year. Especially as we face a second Trump administration.

Me? I’m resolved to do everything I can to protect our freedoms. I’m ready
to fight back when the far-right tries to rig the rules even more in favor
of the rich and powerful. And I’m determined to keep pushing for our
progressive agenda. Like universal child care. Affordable housing. And the
right to an abortion.

Maybe you’ve got a particular policy issue you want to see us continue to
push for.

Maybe you’ve got an idea for how we can stand up to Trump’s agenda and all
his MAGA allies across the country.

Maybe you’ve got thoughts on how we can elect more progressive champions
up and down the ballot.

You are an important part of this team, you help shape what we fight for,
and I’m grateful to fight by your side.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth
