Friend,
THANK YOU.
We knew setting out to raise $50,000 by the end of 2024 was ambitious, but we did it! Thanks to activists like you, we exceeded our goal — which our generous matching-gift donor tripled!
Surpassing our goal means we have the resources we need to immediately confront a sudden and terrible development: On Thursday, the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)'s restoration of its Title II authority — which would have allowed the agency to protect consumers from abuses at the hands of ISPs like AT&T, Comcast and Verizon. Many of you took action with us over the years as we fought to restore Net Neutrality — and we’re grateful that you’ve stood by us and against powerful corporate interests through multiple rounds of fights at the FCC and in the courts.
In September, we filed a brief1 supporting the FCC’s April 2024 decision to classify broadband as a telecommunications service subject to the FCC’s Title II authority. Unfortunately, the 6th Circuit rejected our argument — and in doing so, they rejected common sense, years of statutory context and the public’s best interest.
We knew 2025 was going to be a hard year, but we didn't think we'd be off to the races so quickly. Your support makes it possible for us to fight for Net Neutrality — in the courts, in Congress and wherever it takes. The public deserves internet access that is affordable, reliable, safe and accessible. We hope you'll stay with us.
In gratitude,
Craig & Jessica
