Winter Weather Anticipated Sunday into Monday
Dear Friends,
The first significant winter weather event is likely to hit large parts of our Commonwealth on Sunday and Monday. Governor Youngkin has declared a state of emergency, urging Virginians to stay home if possible and take precautions. Significant snow is possible, and some areas may see freezing rain or ice accumulations. This storm may cause power outages — downed power lines are always possible with winter precipitation. As such, I wanted to share several links that could be useful in the event the weather does knock out power to your home.
