Caught: Another school forces students to comply with DEI

<[link removed]>

Friend,

Many people think university administrators will stop abusing their authority
to force their ideology on students because Donald Trump was elected president.

But the radical elites in higher education won’t give up their ground that
easily.

Now is the time to root out DEI requirements that have been embedded into
campus curriculum at universities across the country.

For example, it was recently reported that Elon University is trying to create
“equity-minded leaders” by forcing early education majors to do social-justice
projects as part of a core class.

You can stand with students against such affronts to their free speech and
academic freedom by making a generous gift to Speech First today.

Speech First has a proven track record of exposing the WORST violations of
students’ First Amendment rights on campus.

Earlier this year, a brave student used our DEI and Indoctrination Tip Line to
reveal that her school, the University of South Carolina, mandated that
students affirm the value of DEI programs in order to register for classes.

But we do more than just gin up headlines when administrators overstep their
authority.

In just five years, we’ve won seven major free speech cases against
universities, setting precedents in dozens of states.

We’ve ended unconstitutional policies like bias response teams and speech
codes at schools like University of Michigan, University of Texas, and
University of Central Florida.

And we’re currently battling Indiana University and Texas State University in
court for their attempts to chill student speech – and with your help,we’ll win.

Will you join Speech First in the fight for students’ free speech rights with
your generous gift of $25, $50, or $100 today?

Future generations will be worse off if we allow DEI programs and other forms
of toxic censorship to affect their education.

Imagine what all those “equity-minded” students will teach their future
kindergartners instead of reading, writing, and arithmetic.

If we don’t defend a culture of free speech on campus, the leaders of tomorrow
will go out into the world and pass on these poisonous ideas to even younger
generations.

But together we can stop unconstitutional, anti-speech policies in their
tracks. Will you give any amount you’re able today to join Speech First in
protecting students’ 1A rights?

Defend Students’ Free Speech Rights

Every day, more studies come out showing that DEI and other social justice
initiatives on campus only increase hostility and division.

Yet colleges and universities continue to plow millions of taxpayer dollars
into these programs, forcing students to comply with them by holding their
registrations, grades, and diplomas hostage.

As the only organization in America solely focused on defending students and
their free speech rights, we’re in a unique position to defeat these schools in
court time and again.

We have, and we will – and I hope you’ll partner with us today in driving
these victories on behalf of college students across the country with your
generous gift today.
