Dear Friends,
Yesterday, I joined my colleagues in the U.S. House of Representatives to be officially sworn into the 119th Congress.
It is my greatest honor and responsibility to represent our Capital Region and deliver meaningfully for our communities. Last Congress, despite the chaos and setbacks, I never stopped working to improve the lives of everyday Americans. A few achievements from last session included:
- Championing and successfully enacting legislation that:
- Authoring and introducing 25 bills and 5 resolutions, and cosponsoring more than 630 bills in the House
- Resolving more than 3,300 constituent cases, and saving more than $5.44 million in federal dollars for NY-20 residents
- Providing more than 120 letters of support on grant funding applications for local groups, firehouses, universities, and businesses
- Delivering more than $500 million in investments to update NY-20 infrastructure
- And more!
While I’m proud of these achievements, I know there is much more that we in Congress must do to support and serve our communities. In my effort to build upon that work, I want to hear from you!
What do you want my colleagues and I to prioritize this coming year? Let me know by taking a moment to complete the following survey!
