Mike Lee for Senate It is unduly intrusive and needs to be repealed.
Friend,
There is a law called the Corporate Transparency Act that requires LLCs and
other business owners to file a Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) report
that requires giving PERSONAL INFORMATION to the federal government.
However, the courts have been going back and forth on whether this law is
unconstitutional – because if you own a business and don't file a BOI report,
you will face serious fines or jail time. By court order, the requirement is
not fully in effect, but the threat to privacy is still real.
I've seen many complaints about this law, so I wanted to inform you that
THERE IS legislation that can repeal it.
I've got a bill—the Saving Privacy Act—that would repeal the Corporate
Transparency Act.The Corporate Transparency Act is unduly intrusive and can be
repealed with this legislation.
The final court ruling on this matter is expected in the coming months, so
please help me spread the word and get the Saving Privacy Act passed >>

The Corporate Transparency Act rests on shaky legal grounds - endangering
Americans' financial privacy by weakening the protections they're supposed to
expect from the Constitution.
