The Democratic House Majority advanced a plan to codify anti-discrimination protections for the LGBTQ community. Demand Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell take immediate action and end these attacks.

Trump's rule paves the way for businesses with federal contracts to use religious objections as a way to discriminate against workers based on sexual orientation, gender identity, race, nationality, and other characteristics. This blatant act of intolerance and bigotry circumvents long-standing civil rights and jeopardizes the safety and financial security of tens of millions of Americans.

These are not our country's values.

House Democrats stand with the LGBTQ community. Our diversity - what we respect and love - is our strength.

But Mitch McConnell refuses to act on our plan to secure equal rights and anti-discrimination protections for ALL Americans.

Call on McConnell to take action to codify anti-discrimination protections for the LGBTQ community.
