Hi John,

This Thursday, San Francisco's Public Safety Neighborhood Services Committee is voting on a resolution to support me and the other nonviolent activists who are facing criminal charges in Sonoma County. If it passes the commission, the resolution will go to the full board of supervisors for a vote -- and the entire city of San Francisco will have the chance to affirm the right to rescue and the right of all animals to be protected from harm!

To get there, we need to show the commission that people care about this issue. We’re putting together a video of members of the public speaking in support of the resolution that we will submit to the Committee members. We need your help! Will you be in the video?

All you have to do is record yourself speaking in support and send the video back to me! It doesn’t take long at all, and you can see my example video here!

You can put it in your own words or you can simply say: “I am making this video to ask that you support the resolution disavowing the prosecution of nonviolent activists for exposing the conditions of factory farms in Sonoma County.”

Berkeley has already passed a resolution supporting the right to rescue, and if San Francisco does the same, it could start a ripple effect of support for open rescue around the world.

I hope you can help!
