I am proud to announce the winners of the 2024 Congressional App Challenge.
The Congressional App Challenge (CAC) is a competition designed to encourage student participation in computer science and coding. The United States House of Representatives launched the CAC in 2014. This nationwide effort allows students to compete against their peers by creating an application ("app") for desktop/PC, web, tablet, mobile, raspberry Pi, or other devices. The Congressional App Challenge promotes innovation and engagement in computer science.
The first-place winner of the 2024 Congressional App Challenge is NexusAI, designed by Arpan Neupane (Elkins High School). The second-place winner is Evolve, designed by Summit Datta and Arnav Reddy (Elkins High School), and the third-place goes to At+endance, designed by Suhhyun Kim (Cinco Ranch High School).
Congratulations to the winners of the 2024 Congressional App Challenge. Texas' 22nd Congressional District is filled with talented, young students who have a bright future ahead of them!
