Dear John,
Happy New Year! I hope you all had a joyful and safe start to 2025. Today I was officially sworn into the 119th Congress. It is an honor to work for the constituents of Minnesota’s Second District, and I am excited for the session ahead. I have many goals for 2025, and it’s my hope that everyone – Democrats and Republicans – will work together on behalf of the American people. Because there's a lot we need to get done. We need to make sure law enforcement has what they need to combat the fentanyl crisis and protect our communities, to pass a Farm Bill and ensure Americans can access the health care they need to live full and healthy lives. The only way it can happen is in a bipartisan way. Bipartisanship is my hope for this year – and I look forward to working with many of you on these goals and more!
Before I got back to Washington, I rang in the New Year with my niece Ellie and my grandson Wyatt. They give me hope for our nation’s future. And what I surely know is that we can’t stop fighting for the country and the world we want to live in.
I’m hoping you all had a wonderful holiday season. We’ll be back in DC for votes this next week.
Until next time,
Angie Craig
Member of Congress
