I want to take a moment and give you a few updates directly from campaign HQ. Some of them are a little concerning, but it's important to me that you're kept in the loop:
- Team Levin is continuing to work virtually. Rather than our usual calls to voters, we're calling senior adult residents across CA-49 instead to check in and to see how we can be helpful during this pandemic.
- Meanwhile, my Republican opponent is ignoring recommendations from health experts and knocking doors anyway. It's totally reckless, and it shows how far the opposition is willing to go.
- California Republicans scored an upsetting win in CA-25 this month. They're more invigorated than ever to retake their lost seats. It's only a matter of time before Republican super PACs enter the fray with their millions.
- To counter their momentum, we need to raise another $15,129 before the end-of-month. Unfortunately, we’re pacing behind our goal.
I’m more confident than ever in our grassroots team. Your generous donations, the time you've spent volunteering, the conversations you’re having on social media with friends and neighbors about our work in Washington -- it adds up to a winning effort.
If (and only if) you are able, please add a contribution of $3 to help us meet our goal this month. I know we can get there, but it’s going to take a team effort.
