In the United States, more than 90,000 people will be diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease this year. It’s the fastest-growing brain disease in the world.

But there’s hope! In spring 2023, Parkinson’s scientists made a huge breakthrough, ushering in a new era for research. With the recent discovery of a biomarker for Parkinson's disease, we can detect Parkinson's pathology in living people even before symptoms show. This confirmation of a biomarker increases momentum for the next stage of research. We are now on an accelerated path to a cure, and we need your support!
