With Sadness, the Maine Forest Service Observes the Passing of Retired Forester Bob Locke

The Maine Forest Service has recently been notified of the passing of Robert “Bob” Locke. Bob dedicated his career to serving the people of Maine, starting in 1954 as a Service Forester and advancing to the position of Regional Forester in 1979, where he supervised five foresters in the northern region. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, former colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. A funeral service is scheduled for January 4th in Caribou.
