Dear neighbor,
AES Indiana is currently monitoring inclement weather which could impact Central Indiana this weekend and into next week. We’re expecting heavy snowfall, dangerous road conditions and freezing temperatures.
Here are some tips from AES on staying safe in the event of dangerous weather conditions:
Pack an emergency kit with water, non-perishable food items, a first-aid kit, portable chargers, flashlights and extra batteries and blankets. More suggestions can be found here [ [link removed] ].
Stay away from fallen, broken or damaged power lines.
Report outages by calling 317-261-8111 or online [ [link removed] ]
Follow AES on social media [ [link removed] ] for updates, and sign up for outage alerts here [ [link removed] ]
In the event of an outage, AES works around the clock to restore power. To help workers work efficiently and safely:
Remove snow and ice from your electric meter and utility equipment if it’s safe to do so
Keep driveways and walkways clear to ensure crews can access your property safely
Please prepare for incoming weather and stay safe!
