The new Congress kicks off today, and it’s already a sh*tshow. But you (and we) saw this coming, right?

Mike Johnson, or MAGA Mike as his fellow cult members call him, is at risk of losing his speakership. The real kicker? Trump endorsed him. He already got up bright and early this morning to wish Mike luck on his useless social media app. There’s a lot hanging in the balance with this vote, and we’re thinking Trump’s sweating.

Trump already kicked off his “presidency” looking weak. He’s spent the last couple months getting his name put second in headlines and responding to Elon’s every demand whether on Twitter or in his own house, where Elon is STILL staying. If Johnson doesn’t pull out this victory, how is that gonna look for ol’ Donnie? 

Today’s MAGA chaos loser of the day is assuredly Mike Johnson. Even if he wins, he still loses.

This vote even being close is a sign of things to come. The leaks and the public condemnations from some of the crazier MAGAs in Congress are a sign of things to come. These guys can’t agree on anything, and just one day of Americans seeing this Congress “govern” will make one thing abundantly clear: MAGA has no intention of accomplishing anything over the next two years.

This whole party is like a Donald Trump business venture: a total and complete con job. They aren’t here to help the American people, they’re here to help Trump stay out of jail and drive up Tesla’s stock price. MAGA at work is just a bunch of conspiracy theorists arguing about everything under the sun while collecting paychecks from the taxpayers. 

The first target of the MAGA con? All of Trump’s voters, who are waiting for Trump’s magic inflation wand. He already admitted it’s “too hard” for him to bring down prices. Remember, that was THE reason he got elected. And he’s already saying he can’t and won’t do anything about it! 

Trump and Trumpism is a con. It was always a con. And it always will be a con.

The best way to hold these guys accountable? By watching like a hawk and making sure voters don’t let these snake oil salesmen back into office come 2026. We know we can do this, but we’re going to need help. Chip in to help us build a winning coalition >>
