UNFPA ended 2024 with an incredibly successful end-of-year giving campaign thanks to your support which will help us reach millions of women, girls, and young people with a range of lifesaving services, supplies, and information.

Your generous gifts delivered care where it was needed most: in Afghanistan, Gaza and the West Bank, Sudan, the Congo, Ukraine, Somalia, Yemen, and more crisis-stricken regions across the globe. While the world moved on from crisis after crisis, your support was steadfast.

Last year, your gifts helped us:

* Reach 10 million people with sexual and reproductive health services
* Support 3,500 health facilities across 55 countries
* Assist 825,400 women in safely delivering their babies
* Reach 3.6 million people with violence prevention, risk mitigation, and response services

Women and girls are still counting on these lifesaving services in the new year. But as President Trump takes office this month, several critical programs are on the line.

The last time President Trump was in office, he defunded UNFPA. Now, his administration is likely to do so again. Losing such critical funding would have devastating consequences, but this remains certain:

Our work is far from finished, and we must be there to answer the call to meet the needs of women and girls around the world.

UNFPA’s work delivering sexual and reproductive health care and services will remain critical to the betterment of the lives of women and girls. With so much uncertainty ahead of us, I’m grateful to consider you a part of this mission.
