Dear Illinois Republican Family,
I hope everyone had a joyful Christmas, Hanukkah, and holiday season filled with love and laughter. As we embrace the first days of 2025, let’s approach the year ahead with renewed energy and optimism. I wish you and your loved ones a year filled with happiness, good health, and success. Together, let’s make 2025 extraordinary as President Trump implements his America First Agenda.
From securing our borders to boosting the economy and standing strong on the world stage, President Trump’s leadership brings the bold direction our country needs. Meanwhile, here in Illinois, JB Pritzker and his allies continue to push a radical agenda that undermines these efforts. Their policies starkly contrast with the commonsense solutions that have delivered results for hardworking Americans. Illinois Republicans are committed to amplifying the voices of Illinois families, mobilizing voters, and strengthening our conservative movement to bring real leadership back to our state.
As we begin implementing America First policies in 2025, it’s important to reflect on all we achieved together in 2024. Your unwavering support propelled our efforts, helping us move the majority of Illinois counties toward the Republican Party. We held Democrats accountable, stood firm against their extreme agenda, and brought renewed hope to families across Illinois. Whether advancing our shared values, supporting strong Republican candidates, or opposing harmful policies, your dedication made it possible.
In Williamson County, Chairman Jim Patrick and Secretary Patti Howard wanted to highlight an incredible milestone: all Republicans on the ballot won their races. This included the President, the U.S. Representative for the 12th Congressional District, State’s Attorney, Circuit Clerk, Coroner, Commissioner, and four Republican Judges for Retention. For the first time, Williamson County carried every race up and down the ballot—a testament to their growing momentum. Congratulations to Williamson County!
However, substantial work remains. The challenges ahead in 2025 are significant, with critical elections on the horizon. Republicans made significant progress in early voting in 2024, but we must continue prioritizing and embracing all available tools, including voting by mail. Banking votes before Election Day is essential. The party that votes for weeks and months will outpace the party that votes for just one day. Illinois Republicans remain laser-focused on maximizing early voting to secure victory.
Local elections are also just around the corner. These elections form the foundation of our democracy, shaping our communities and influencing daily life. Local leaders determine policies on school boards, public safety, and infrastructure, ensuring our neighborhoods’ needs are met. These elections offer direct representation and accountability, allowing voters to engage with officials who advocate for their priorities. Local governments often drive innovative policies and develop future leaders, making these elections a crucial starting point for broader change. By voting locally, citizens can profoundly impact their communities and the nation.
The battles ahead are challenging. We face a radical governor that is still eyeing the presidency, a far-left senator overdue for retirement, and a Chicago mayor undermining the school system and jeopardizing our children’s future. These are just a few of the critical issues the Illinois Republican Party is fighting to address. It won’t be easy, but together we can maintain our momentum, energize our movement, and work tirelessly to make Illinois a state where families and communities can thrive.
Thank you for standing with us in 2024. I look forward to all we will achieve together in the year ahead. Here’s to 2025, a year of determination, unity, and victory! With your continued support, we will make Illinois Republican again and usher in an era of unparalleled prosperity for our beloved state.
