Today is my first official day as Delaware’s newest Senator. I can’t wait to start making my mission of bringing Bright Hope to the Senate a reality.

I’m excited to work across the aisle to implement policies that will make life better for Delawareans – and all Americans.

There are many things I’d like to work on during my term: expanding access to affordable health care services so people don’t have to choose between putting food on the table and lifesaving treatment; reducing our country’s carbon emissions to slow the progression of climate change; and making sure that basic necessities, like groceries and gas, are affordable and accessible.

But I want to know what’s important to you, team. Will you please take my quick, two question survey so I know what issues you’d like to see me make a priority?
