January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. We are

raising awareness about these crimes and would love your help in ending them around the world.
While many people know about this global crime, some of the truths about human trafficking may be unexpected. This month to help raise awareness, we will be sharing some of these unexpected truths with you.
One truth about human trafficking is just how prevalent it is in industries that many aren’t aware of — like on fishing boats, where thousands of young children are forced into brutal and deadly labor.
Hope** was trafficked when he was just 13 years old. He labored for five years with other children on a lake. It was his job to dive into the deep, dark water to untangle fishing nets and the risk of drowning was constant.
This is just one form of trafficking

The good news is Hope is free today and living a fulfilled life thanks to friends like you! However, many more children need to be freed from trafficking and we encourage you to join us in raising awareness.
