Dear ,
As we step into the new year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the progress we made together in 2024 to protect clean water and the health of communities everywhere and look towards our future impact.
Last year, Waterkeeper Alliance played a leading role in fighting for clean water worldwide:
* Fighting highly toxic “forever chemicals” with historic new drinking water standards from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, protecting against PFAS, PFOA, and PFOS that pollute water, harm the environment, and put public health at risk
* Guarding coastline against offshore oil drilling in The Bahamas and Sénégal, which poses a grave threat to marine ecosystems, water quality, and coastal communities.
* Strengthening power plant rules after over a decade of advocacy, achieving historic regulatory measures from the Biden administration to reduce toxic pollution and greenhouse gas emissions from coal-fired plants
* Leading the fossil fuel phase-out by raising awareness, generating support, and fostering engagement by equipping Waterkeeper groups worldwide with resources to oppose fossil fuel projects and challenge ineffective climate solutions.
Your support makes our work possible, and the actions you take today can make an impact on our world and your loved ones tomorrow. By creating your free will ([link removed]) today, you can:
* Secure your loved ones and assets in just 20 minutes
* Reflect on the values that matter most to you
* Designate beneficiaries ([link removed]) for your 401(k), IRA and more
* Consider supporting clean water efforts for future generations with Waterkeeper Alliance

In 2025 and beyond, we’re working to ensure that everyone, no matter where they live, has access to clean, safe water. Thanks to advocates like you, we’re able to protect vulnerable communities and our shared water resources from toxic contamination.
Together, we can continue this critical work in the years ahead.
With gratitude,
Mary Beth Postman
Deputy Director
P.S. If you’ve already included Waterkeeper Alliance in your estate plan, please let us know ([link removed]) —we’d love to thank you for standing with us to protect clean water for all.
