Happy new year Young Democrats,

Hopefully you all enjoyed some quality time during the holiday season. Let’s work to make sure 2025 is a great year for Democrats. Now, more than ever, we must organize. Here are some ways you can get involved!

Registration is now open! Our California Young Democrats Post-Election Organizing Retreat will be at the Asilomar Hotel and Conference Grounds on February 14-16, 2025. Come meet other Young Democrats, debrief the 2024 election results, and get organized for 2025! Register here ([link removed]) to take advantage of our early registration rates. Run to make a difference in the Democratic Party! Many of us are feeling upset about the election results and looking for ways to get involved and make a difference. One way you can make a difference is by running to become a California Democratic Party Assembly District Delegate. Assembly District Delegates are involved in the decision-making process of the California Democratic Party, including choosing leadership, endorsements, platform, and resolutions. Running for ADEMS? We’re endorsing! Pursuant to our bylaws, we will be conducting an internet vote from January 11, 2025 at 10:00am to January 18, 2025 at 11:59pm to endorse Young Democrats running for California Democratic Party Assembly District Delegate. Missed the chartering deadline? We extended it! All returning and new chapters must submit/resubmit their respective chartering information and documents for 2025 by January 16, 2025.
