Our vision to end child trafficking and exploitation requires tenacious determination, profound compassion, and unrelenting commitment. Throughout his career, Glaydon has led with these values and championed the voices of communities impacted by injustice, ensuring they are central in designing effective solutions that have the power to drive lasting change. As a human rights attorney who has held several Executive Director roles, Glaydon brings extensive experience in strategic planning, direct services, and organizational leadership.
In tandem with Glaydon's leadership, Love146 will continue to be a force for clear-eyed hope and strategic action in the anti-trafficking movement—leveraging impactful programs and prevention efforts with unwavering dedication to this vital work. As we enter this new chapter, we express our deepest gratitude to Rob Morris, our Co-Founder, who will continue to contribute to Love146’s mission and vision as a member of our Board of Directors.

Born in São Paulo and raised in Tocantins, within Brazil's Amazon region, Glaydon Jose de Freitas Filho's upbringing in close-knit communities instilled in him a profound sense of cooperation and resilience. Inspired by his father's pioneering work in restorative justice and his grandmother's dedication to community advocacy, Glaydon developed a lifelong commitment to empowering marginalized voices and addressing systemic inequities. His philosophy of radical love centers on compassion, equity, and the pursuit of justice for the most vulnerable.
As a lawyer holding an LL.M. in International Law and Human Rights from the University of Houston, Glaydon has dedicated his career to advancing human rights and fostering community resilience. At RAICES, he expanded legal services and advocacy for immigrant families, implementing trauma-informed programs that provided safety and support for immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. His leadership at Corazón Healdsburg saw the promotion of initiatives that cultivated equity and belonging, while at Miles4Migrants, he prioritized family reunification and alternative pathways for forcibly displaced individuals, forging impactful partnerships with global and local organizations alongside community-led approaches. Throughout his career, Glaydon has consistently centered the voices of those most affected, ensuring their perspectives promote meaningful, sustainable, and inclusive change.
Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, Glaydon brings a perspective of shared humanity and a steadfast dedication to ensuring dignity, safety, and empowerment for children and families confronting exploitation and systemic injustice.
