to health workers in Syria.

John,

The global COVID-19 crisis is straining Syria's already weakened health system. Yet in the face of this pandemic, the International Rescue Committee is determined to keep health clinics open to serve displaced families, provide medical care and protect communities from the spread of disease.

This uninterrupted essential work is only possible thanks to our IRC health workers in Syria.

They work tirelessly — holidays, weekends and nights — in the toughest conditions to care for vulnerable women, children and refugees. For these heroes, a message of thanks from IRC supporters all over the world instantly lifts their spirits. It's a moment between patients or at the end of a long day when they can see just how much their lifesaving work means to our global community.

Take one minute today to thank health workers in Syria for their efforts on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Send a card now and we'll deliver it by the end of the week!

Years of conflict put displaced Syrian families at a disproportionately higher risk for contracting COVID-19. Hundreds of thousands of refugees live in overcrowded camps, where social distancing is impossible. Families have limited access to hygiene resources and medical services. They need immediate health care assistance to stay safe and healthy.

IRC health workers are in Syria to answer that need and do whatever it takes to protect vulnerable families. Their work is lifesaving, John. Let's thank them for it.

The card you sent last month was so appreciated. IRC teams around the world have reached out to tell me how much those cards brightened their day. Now will you send a card to a health worker in Syria? I'll be sure it reaches them this week.
