As we begin a new year, we are filled with gratitude for the support and dedication you’ve shown in the fight to end homelessness. Your generosity this holiday season, and throughout the year, has been a powerful reminder that we are not alone in this work.

We look to the year ahead. And while we know that our work may become more difficult in the face of unprecedented attacks on best practices for ending homelessness, we continue to stand by our values. They will not shift.

• We will lead with love and equity in everything we do.
• We will relentlessly pursue bringing people home.

These guiding principles are the foundation of our work. We meant it when we set them, and we will stay true to them – even when it is hard. Even when others are actively working to undermine this approach. Our mission is clear, and we will not be neutral about it.

We will find opportunities to make progress and have impact – both with defensive work and proactive work. We have a strong foundation and the work we have been doing to build capacity this past year prepares us for 2025 and beyond.

The National Alliance to End Homelessness will not waver in its commitments to the homelessness field’s needs and to the needs of the people we all serve. Your generous support propels us into the year ahead.
