We drove change in 2024...

• We showed how YouTube is harming young girls by pushing dangerous eating disorders content to their screens – and are campaigning to demand urgent action.

• We exposed how social media companies failed to stop the spread of election misinformation, AI deepfakes, and abuse targeting candidates – which can mislead voters and have a catastrophic impact on our democracy.

• We showed how New Climate Denial narratives are a new tactic used to undermine the climate movement, science, and solutions.

• We reached millions of people in the U.S. by broadcasting an important message on national TV and radio stations.

• We beat Elon Musk in court, showing that the richest man in the world can’t bully us into silence. It was a huge win for independent researchers everywhere.

Together, we will keep making a difference in 2025.

Our work has never been more important as social media bosses get closer to power, AI outputs become ever more convincing, and our kids are left at the mercy of a “digital babysitter” that doesn’t care about their wellbeing.
