Friend,
Happy New Year!
Whether you signed up for emails, joined the conversation on social media, contacted your elected officials, signed a petition, or made a donation, your support is helping DPA end the drug war and build the world we deserve.
A world where we can lead our lives with dignity, in whole and loving communities. With compassion and support in our times of need. Without threat or violence. Regardless of who we are and whether or not we use drugs.
We accomplished a lot in 2024 with you by our side. We fought to treat drug use as a health issue, not a criminal problem. We moved closer to ending federal marijuana prohibition and addressing the lifelong consequences of criminalization. We stood up for policies that save lives and strengthen families. And we pushed back on rampant misinformation.
But there is more to do. No matter what obstacles we face, we will keep moving forward in 2025 and beyond, until we achieve our vision for health, equity, and human rights. It’s what we do.
Thank you for being a part of the Drug Policy Alliance. We couldn't do this work without you.
With gratitude,
Kassandra Frederique
Executive Director
Drug Policy Alliance
P.S. Thank you again for being a part of the Drug Policy Alliance. We are expecting an unprecedented year ahead. If you can, help us start the year off on a strong footing by making a special donation to DPA. Donor support is critical to help us defend our victories, while we continue to win more groundbreaking reforms that will help undo the drug war, save lives, and build the world we deserve.
