As our country pulls through the health and economic crises causes by COVID-19, too many American families are struggling to make ends meet. And that’s especially true here in Florida. A national news outlet recently reported that “Florida has processed its hundreds of thousands of new unemployment claims more slowly than any other state.”

Will you join Stephanie’s focus group by answering a few questions about unemployment insurance and other economic issues affecting Floridians during the pandemic?

Stephanie is deeply troubled by the failure of Florida’s unemployment insurance system caused by Republican state leaders who designed the system to do just that: fail people needing assistance. Floridians work hard to make our state is the beautiful, thriving, and vibrant place that it is. And when hardworking families need a little help to get them through a difficult time, they deserve to receive it -- in a timely manner and without unnecessary burden or struggle.
