For January, we're discussing our favorite books that we read in 2024.
For February, we're reading Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir.
Train Car Creations
Tuesday, January 7 & Thursday, January 9, 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Join us to create kid-sized train cars. We provide the boxes and craft supplies, and you supply the imagination! Afterward, parade your creation in the Train Car Parade on Saturday, January 11, at 11:00 a.m. Open to children of all ages.

The Kids’ Express will chugga-chug around the Library for all to enjoy. See the custom train cars kids and families have created or, better yet, be a part of the fun and make your own train car on January 7 and 9! At the end of the line, join us for a special storytime celebrating trains.

Poké Club
Friday, January 10, 4:30 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.
Calling all Pokémon fans in grades 3-5! Enjoy snacks and trade cards, express your creativity through a Pokémon-related craft, and celebrate all things Pokémon with other fans.
This program will be held in the Learning Center.
Story Laboratory: Thinking Money for Kids!
Tuesday, January 14, 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Join us for a fun party-planning game at Story Laboratory! Participating kids will plan a party and learn about budgeting! Thinking Money for Kids is an initiative of the American Library Association and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation.

Teen LEGO Night
Thursday, January 16, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Let’s LEGO!!! We will have one challenge to warm up with, and then let the free-building begin! For grades 6-12.

Bluebird Boxes
Saturday, January 18, 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Join us to hear Texas Master Naturalist Taylor Thorns talk about the benefits of hosting bluebirds in your yard. Receive free supplies to build a bluebird box that you can install and monitor in your yard. One bluebird box kit per family while supplies last.

Sensory Station
Friday, January 24, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
All aboard to Sensory Station! Bring your little ones and explore the senses at different stations. This program is intended for children ages 1 to 3.
