Happy New Year!
It feels like 2024 went by so quickly, and it’s already the beginning of a brand new year!
As we look forward to all we can do to advocate for Oregon’s most vulnerable in 2025, we’re also reflecting on all the things we’ve accomplished together over the past year.
In 2024, Oregon Right to Life…
- Held Pro-Life Lobby Day highlighting the need to protect infants who survive abortion.
- Presented oral arguments in U.S. District Court in our lawsuit against Oregon’s abortion mandate on private insurance. Filed an appeal of the District Court’s decision to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
- Hired a full-time Communications Director to facilitate a high level communication strategy and amplify our impact in the media.
Our Community Outreach team:
- Reached more than 1,400 people with pro-life presentations.
- Hosted the first Eastern Oregon Pro-Life Summit.
- Published the first-ever local life-affirming resource guides in Oregon history.
And our Political Advocacy team:
- Defeated the only pro-abortion Republican serving in the Oregon Legislature in a historic landslide win. This means 100% of Republicans serving in the Oregon Legislature in 2025 are pro-life and supported by Oregon Right to Life PAC.
- Delivered educational presentations to over 200 advocates and elected officials to foster better and more effective strategies when talking about life issues.
- Invested $134,604.97 and made 1.2 million connections to turn out the pro-life vote.
It’s been a busy year, and we’re not planning on slowing down in 2025!
