The fact of the matter is that the communist regime in China waged an aggressive campaign of disinformation, censorship and suppression to silence those raising early alarms about COVID-19. On top of that, they worked to punish whistleblowers, shame critics, and shift blame for the pandemic. 

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is responsible for the global spread of the coronavirus and the worldwide health and economic damage.

• The United States should apply sanctions to those individuals in the CCP who are responsible for the cover-up and the worldwide spread of the virus.
• The U.S. government should press Beijing to respect freedom of speech, association, and religion so citizens and NGOs can offer information, expertise and resources.
