Your interest in updates from the City of Ann Arbor is appreciated. Please note the following new information:
- There will be no curbside collection of trash, compost and recycling on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25. Collections will resume Tuesday, May 26, with a one-day delay; regular Friday pickups will occur Saturday, May 30. Though city outdoor pools will not open as they normally would Memorial Day weekend, there is still plenty to do in the Ann Arbor parks.
- Ann Arbor Natural Area Preservation’s annual garlic mustard pulling event kicks off tomorrow, Friday, May 22, but in a “together-separately” format this year. NAP is encouraging individuals and members of the same household to participate in Garlic Mustard Weed-out Week on their own, either in city nature areas or even in their own yards, and over the course of a week, May 22-31. Participants are then being asked to celebrate their hard work by reporting their progress and sharing photos online.
