After a very tough election cycle, it’s understandable that so many people — myself included — have felt a whirlwind of emotions, but we can’t let this feeling get in the way of our determination to make a difference.

Even though we fell short in some key races, we still have a lot to be proud of.

We elected the most diverse Senate in history , John.

When I was first sworn in 11 years ago, the Senate was the least diverse place I had ever worked by any metric. Americans deserve a Senate that closely resembles the country it serves — and I am proud that with your help, we’re continuing to make progress on this front.

For example, for the first time ever , two Black women will serve in the Senate at the same time: My friends Lisa Blunt Rochester of Delaware and Angela Alsobrooks of Maryland.

We also helped a few of my colleagues running in battleground races get across the finish line victorious — people like Tammy Baldwin in Wisconsin, (who I’m taking a selfie with below!) Jacky Rosen in Nevada, and Elissa Slotkin in Michigan.

They won their races by razor-thin margins in a very difficult political environment thanks to folks like you chipping in whatever you could to support their campaigns.

I’ll be the first to admit that November 5th didn’t go exactly as we’d hoped, but it’s important to remember that every little bit of progress is a step forward. And John, we made a lot of progress this year.

Your support this year has meant the world to me, and I hope you’ll continue to stand with me in 2025. Will you make a donation before our final FEC fundraising deadline at midnight to help me continue fighting for a more just, loving nation? [[link removed]]
