Hi there,
There are just a few hours left in the year—and just a few hours left to triple your gift for farmed animals.
In these last moments of 2024, I’m thinking about everything that mended my heart this year. (That list includes you!) It includes our shared progress. And it includes the animals we’re fighting for.
Have you ever seen cows dancing on those first beautiful days of spring? When let out into a grassy field after a long winter, they kick and frolic with happiness. Or a pig, relaxing in a mud puddle. He’s the picture of joy—finding contentment in the simplest things. And if you’ve ever witnessed a hen rescued from the horrors of a battery cage “farm,” you’ll understand her palpable delight upon feeling grass and sunlight for the first time.
Animals deserve more than freedom from cruelty. They also deserve joy.
I’ve seen so much emotion, resilience, and joy in the eyes of animals. They’re bright lights in this world. And, although confronting the horrors of what they endure on factory farms never ceases to break my heart—I’m also thinking about our long-term vision. A vision where no animal suffers cruelty at the hands of humans.
With over 67 million hens who stand to be spared from cages after this year alone, we’ve never been closer to that future. And, with our ambitious plans for fighting corporate animal abuse in 2025, I know we can get there. But it will take all of us.
Animals are counting on us. Will you help create the future we owe them—and the future they deserve?
Thank you for all the hearts you mended this year. Just because something is broken doesn't mean it can't be fixed.
For the animals, in 2025 and beyond.
