Friend, A bill was introduced in Pennsylvania’s state legislature on Wednesday which would give commissioners the authority to allow businesses in their areas to reopen during public health emergencies. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick released the following statement on the bill:
“I stand with our Bucks County delegation in allowing our local county commissioners, in consultation with our local health officials, to reopen businesses if public health and safety criteria are met. We can trust our local health officials to advise our county commissioners on how to safely open our community’s businesses. Our local business owners need our help now. This is precisely how we can deliver them the help they need.”
