Dear John,

As we close out another impactful year, I want to reflect on what we’ve accomplished together and look forward to what 2025 has in store.

This year, we’ve seen some huge electoral successes. We were able to re-elect 95% of our environmental champions, and we even added 12 new climate champions to Congress! These candidates are committed to progressing key legislation, making headway on clean energy, environmental justice, clean air and water, and more.

But with a Republican trifecta on the horizon in January, we know that this work will only become more difficult. There will be gridlock and opposition, but the climate doesn’t care about infighting or partisanship. Neither will future generations, who will inhabit the environment that we leave behind. We have to protect our progress, and keep fighting for more.

We need your support more than ever in the new year to maintain and grow our coalition, and to keep supporting our Members who are committed to addressing climate change and protecting our environment. Will you help us start 2025 off strong with a donation of $25? [[link removed]]

DONATE $25 » [[link removed]]The new year brings new opportunities to fight for our environment and make progress together, while fighting against legislation that would harm our climate.

Just a few days ago, our team reached out to let you know about the bipartisan Whale CHARTS Act, introduced by SEEC Co-Chair Doris Matsui and SEEC Member Jared Huffman, along with two of their Republican colleagues. This is the kind of pragmatic approach that will drive our work forward in the new year: reaching across the aisle to advance our goals but never sacrificing our principles.

I want to close with another thank-you to our Chair, Rep. Matt Cartwright, for his dedication and service to environmental causes and his investment in building SEEC PAC from the ground up. He is leaving us in the capable hands of our new Chair, Rep. Nikki Budzinski, to guide SEEC PAC’s work in the new year! The future is bright as long as we’re ready to fight for it.

So before 2025 arrives, will you donate $25 to support our SEEC Members who will be working to advance climate legislation in the new year and beyond? [[link removed]]

Thank you,
David @ SEEC PAC

Thanks to your help in 2024, SEEC PAC was able to re-elect over 95% of our pro-environment members to the U.S. House of Representatives — defying the odds on a night where Democrats lost seats. Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 119th Congress while we continue fighting for a sustainable future. But if you'd like to receive fewer emails, we understand.
