The team at Plastic Pollution Coalition (PPC) has accomplished so much this year, and you’ve heard from many of them these past few weeks. We need your support to continue to do our work, and a donation before midnight tonight will be TRIPLE-matched.

• You heard from Hannah Testa, PPC Youth Ambassador, about the amazing work she and the team did at the recent UN Plastics Treaty negotiations in Busan, Republic of Korea, in late November.
• Amelia Hanson told you about how our Flip the Script on Plastics campaign is shifting the narrative around plastic pollution and influencing culture to normalize real solutions.
• Aidan Maguire explained how our Coalition Program brings together an incredible network of businesses, artists, notables, allies, and youth leaders to spread awareness of issues related to plastic pollution, and how we are leaning into collaborating with our Business Members to amplify nontoxic and regenerative solutions and help create lasting systems change.

• Madison Dennis filled you in on how our Filtered Not Bottled campaign could prevent hundreds of billions of plastic bottles from being distributed in the U.S., and some big wins we’ve had in 2024, including financially supporting frontline organizations impacted by lead pipes in six high-priority states.
• Erica Cirino told you about how our communications work is exposing corporate greenwashing and sharing critical information about plastic pollution, reaching millions of people with the truth about plastic and with real, actionable solutions.

And I’m here to tell you that I’m inspired every single day by this next generation of leaders and the work they are doing to stop plastic pollution and its toxic impacts and create a more just, equitable world.

PPC began in 2009 with the simple goal to call plastic what it really is: pollution. We’ve been telling the truth about plastic for 15 years, and we are just getting started.

Thank you for supporting our work this year and going forward. We will not stop standing up for human health, the environment, and a better world for us all.
