In Wisconsin, we saw the terrible consequences of unclear last-minute changes to voting systems. Many voters didn’t receive their ballots in the mail in time and were forced to choose between exercising their democratic rights and protecting their health -- which is simply unacceptable.

It's clear, as we face a crisis of global proportions, we must protect the right to vote by moving to a national vote-by-mail system. Because in this nation, no one should have to choose between their ballot and their health.
