Tomorrow is January 1st. That means TODAY is our final day of 2024 to raise the funds necessary to be ready, quite literally, on day one of the new year to take on Trump and the Republican majorities in D.C. As a party, we are turning our attention toward the work ahead in 2025, 2026, and beyond. Fortunately, we have huge successes to build upon.
With the Colorado County Comeback, our party invested tens of thousands of dollars directly into our county parties and candidates, building long-term infrastructure and supporting rural Coloradans.
The Horizon Project, which allows us to place staff and resources in Colorado’s most competitive Congressional district, boosted voter turnout by double digits among young and Latino voters who had recently sat our elections through deep canvassing, turning out voters who had long ago tuned out of politics and elections.
As our Chair, Shad Murib, says, “The next frontier of Colorado politics is local.” That couldn’t ring more true than right now – the governments closest to us will matter more in the age of a federal government led by Donald Trump and Elon Musk.
The work we have ahead of us is critical: Investing in our county parties and grassroots efforts, while competing and showing up everywhere in Colorado – and we’re going to need your support through the long haul.
