The end of the year is an important time of reflection for me.
Today, I’m reflecting on all our work in Virginia this year despite facing a Republican governor. We’ve increased investments in education, protected reproductive health care, fought for a clean environment, supported working families through childcare and increases in minimum wage, and much more. I’m grateful for all the support we’ve received, but I’m apprehensive about the future of our country under Donald Trump’s administration.
But most importantly, I am hopeful that we will be able to overcome any challenges in 2025.
That’s precisely why I decided to run for Lieutenant Governor – I know that a better way forward is possible, but it won’t happen on its own. We have to fight for it.
