Dear Friend,
2024 ends in a matter of hours. It's been a big year for us, and we have a lot to be grateful for.
Above all else, this year has reminded me that the community around this organization is our true strength. Dozens of you took the leap to write for us for the first time. More than 1,000 of you turned out to our events. You stepped up in your own neighborhoods: you testified, you sent letters, and some of you even ran for office. More than 100 of you helped us launch a second nonprofit, GGWash Commons.
We don't know what exactly 2025 holds, but the strength of this community gives me the confidence that, together, we're going to keep making progress toward the vision of a growing, dense, connected region, where housing is abundant and affordable, it's easy to get around without a car, and land use decisions prioritize racial, social, and environmental justice.
