SENATOR ROBERTS
CALLS OUT THE GOVERNMENT
The first week of our new Parliament is complete and One Nation’s newest Senator Malcolm Roberts was out of the blocks with a bang. The very first opportunity he had he was on his feet calling the government out and demanding more for the people of Australia.
 
During one memorable speech, he was able to bring attention to the destructive effects a proposed solar power complex near Kilcoy could have on millions of Queenslanders.
 
Because the land near the proposed site is flood-prone there is a significant risk of contaminants from deteriorating solar panels flowing into the water and contaminating the supply of a significant chunk of Queensland’s water!
 
Without One Nation, it is issues like these that get swept under the rug and it is the people of Australia who suffer the consequences!

There was another interesting event that really highlighted the differences between One Nation and another party, the Greens. While Senator Roberts was talking about the importance of the coal industry and coal-fired power stations a Greens Senator thought it would be appropriate to mock the issue.

Senator Roberts said in response to the incident: “This is the level of maturity from the Greens in the Senate as I spoke in support of the coal industry in Queensland today.”
 
“The Greens have become irrelevant so they choose to play the clowns instead of participating in honest and factual debate to make Australia a better place.”

SCAM ALERT!
Australians are renowned for their generosity to those less fortunate which is what makes the following story so appalling.
 
Police have busted a sophisticated fake Chinese beggar scam operating in Australia.
 
Police alleged that the scammers were flown in from China to pose as beggars and fleece generous Aussies of their money so it could be transferred out of Australia.
 
How low can you get?

FIGHTING FOR
WESTERN AUSTRALIA
One of the things One Nation is best at is fighting for more local jobs.
 
This is exactly what happened last week over in Western Australia where One Nation WA state leader Colin Tincknell gave this rousing speech on the floor of state parliament.
 
Colin rightly called out the shameful lack of job contracts for locals and demanded the Government hold foreign corporations to account. 

This should be the job of every politician but, as Colin pointed out in his speech, many in the Liberals and Labor seemed to have their hands tied on this issue. 

Which is exactly why we need One Nation in parliaments across the country. We speak out when others are too afraid their words might cost them their big corporate donors.
 
One Nation is beholden only to the people of Australia and not too big business or powerful unions so there is no one to stop us speaking out about injustices affecting everyday Aussies.
 
And that is the way it will stay!
