* Lead a new wave of attacks on LGBTQ people – particularly trans youth – by removing all federal protections that currently prevent discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

* Begin the largest mass deportation effort in U.S. history.

This is what we are up against – but the ACLU is built for this moment. We have a battle-tested plan to stop Trump: build a firewall for freedom in the states, block the administration's worst offensives through litigation and advocacy, and mobilize our millions of supporters.

But we simply cannot put our plans into action without resources, so falling short of this year-end goal is not an option.
