Can you believe today is the last day of 2024? It is also the last day for your gift to be TRIPLED.

As you’re wrapping up this year, I want to share a quick story with you.

A colleague of mine recently had a conversation with a young woman who reached out to Live Action over social media looking for help. This is the message that started the conversation:

Sadly, this situation is all too common in our world today. Young women facing unplanned pregnancies experience all kinds of pressure from society at large as well as the people in their lives. Abortion is pushed as a “quick fix” to the “problem” of an unexpected baby, and life-affirming options are rarely mentioned.

As pro-life advocates, it is our duty to be ready to help and offer guidance and support to women like the one my coworker talked with. This is how we save lives and create a pro-life culture—one encounter at a time.

Just a few short days after she first reached out to us, the young woman wrote back sharing that she rejected abortion! Here is that message:

This is truly the entire reason for our work. When we play a part in encouraging moms and saving precious lives like this preborn baby’s, we don’t just make an impact for today. We impact generations. Who knows who this little boy or girl will grow up to be, what they will someday do, or the people who will descend from them? The ripple effects are beyond imagination!

None of this would be possible without the support of our generous donors. Every dollar sacrificially given enables us to create and distribute lifesaving, mind-changing content, equip pro-life individuals with the tools needed to advocate for preborn children, address the cultural issues of our day, and provide life-affirming counsel to those who reach out to us, as this young woman did.

You and I both know how severe the threat of abortion is to our country. Last year alone, we lost over 1 million preborn boys and girls to abortion. 

The sad truth is that for every mom that we speak with like this one, there are dozens more like her that need someone to speak with them. Live Action’s ability to reach them is dependent entirely on our generous supporters.
