What a year it has been.
The Hechinger Report broke news about just how often another college closes. We brought you the tales of the superintendent who was shown the door after doing too good of a job educating students learning English. We wrote about what child care can look like when it becomes a national priority. We worked to help you make sense of how the education landscape could change in the months ahead. We did it all while grieving the loss of one of our own, data reporter Fazil Khan.
I am so proud to lead this team, whose work, including Fazil's, left an impression, leading to changed policies, inspiring new legislation, pushing people in power to take another look at their actions.
