The fight to enshrine abortion access in the VA constitution won’t be easy. We must work together to engage, educate, and mobilize Virginians to support this cause over the next few years, and your support in every single phase will be critical.

Starting in January, we will be working to ensure our resolutions pass each chamber in order for the constitutional amendment to move forward. Then, in November 2025, we must fight to protect our pro-choice majority in the House, which will allow us to move to the next stage without the Governor’s approval. We have a lot of work to do, but we know that with you by our side, we can do it.

Here’s the harsh reality: Virginia is the last state in the South without a post-Roe abortion ban.

People across the South depend on VA for this necessary and sometimes lifesaving care, and now we have a chance to enshrine abortion rights into our constitution, but we need your help.
